I dare you to find something on this menu — and especially the specials menu — to where you don’t lick your plate clean. Even though our portions are HUGE the majority of our food gets finished and there is a reason why everyone takes home the rest if their stomachs prove smaller than their eyes.

Executive Chef Jaysen creates masterful specials every Thursday and Saturday that are far beyond what you would expect at a Southern-style comfort food restaurant. With specials such as Duck Confit Shepherd’s Pie (my favorite) or the Elvis Burger (attached above, I have a larger res photo if needed) with house made pimento cheese dripping over a 1/2 pound angus burger with onion rings, applewood bacon, lettuce and tomato — they sell out of them almost every time.
I invite you to try for yourself the surprisingly amazing food served everyday at Stanley’s Kitchen and Tap.

Few quotes we found about Stanley’s… mmhmmmm
“Staying true to the neighborhood bar formula, Stanley’s has built its longstanding reputation on providing a comfortable atmosphere and good food for its loyal patrons,” said Arthur Frommer, The New York Times.
“The food is good; the service always friendly. Stanley’s is the only place I feel at home,” said Cornelius Lee, a Stanley’s regular. “There is a reason I have been coming here for the past 15 years.”
