If you’re in the market for a memorable Valentine’s Day dinner, look no further than the warm, inviting atmosphere and superior dining experience at Sam & Harry’s. From Friday, February 12th until Sunday February 14th, Sam & Harry’s in Schaumburg will offer a creatively crafted three-course menu to stimulate the senses. With seasonal ingredients, the freshest seafood and prime meat selections, and delectable desserts, Sam and Harry’s elegantly presented dishes are sure to impress.
The difficult decision for guests lies in choosing just one selection from each course.
Appetizer:
Flight of Oysters
-Cocktail, iced verjus mignonette, passion fruit gelee
Mache Salad
-Raspberries, fromage blanc, marcona almond cake, red onion jam, candied coriander
Entrée:
Steak and Lobster | $50
-Sauce bordelaise, bone-marrow mousse, drawn butter
Tasmanian Ocean Trout | $45
-Oyster crust, horseradish, beauty heart radish, candy striped beets
Braised Lamb Shank | $48
-Chickpea ragout, baby fennel, carrots, turnips
Dessert:
Dark Chocolate Soufflé Cake
-Black cherry ice cream, orange dust tuile cookie
Espresso-Mascarpone French Toast
-Gooseberry kumquat jam, vanilla sabayon
In addition to the meal, Sam and Harry’s has coordinated with the nearby Renaissance Hotel in creating a post-dinner package. After your meal off the Valentine’s Day menu, enjoy a room for two for the evening, complete with four long-stemmed chocolate-covered strawberries and a half-bottle of Ellysian Dessert Wine. The package is available for $249 plus tax.
